This sweet thing is all energy, all the time. Yes, Pickle is curious girlie who loves nothing more than to be move. Last month she started to run, this month she started to climb. Whether it's putting her leg up to get into the bath or to climb on her new wicker chair, Rowan girl isn't afraid of heights. Perhaps we should enrol her in gymnastics now...
Since Rowan is a busy baby, Aaron and I have always enjoy her nap time. Up to this point girlie has been napping for an hour in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. To our dismay, Pickle is starting to give up her morning nap this month. In related news, my morning coffee intake has increased.
When she isn't on the move, Rowan loves to sit and read. This Christmas the Forster Hunter household received many (and much needed) new books. Some of Rowan's current favourite books include "Goodnight, I love you", "Totty", and "Pride and Prejudice". Pickle also has some new favourite toys. They include this peep and peek egg set, this Melissa and Doug fruit set and a lovely wooden alphabet puzzle set from Habe. Pickle also loves to watch Seasme Street. Seriously, how did I ever make dinner before this dvd?
And did I mention the conversations she keeps babbling? I pretty sure in a few months time I will know exactly what she saying to Charlie as she points at him and "speaks". She is a) very curious and questioning him about life or b) very bossy, telling him what to do. I will definitely keep you posted on whether she's a little a or a little b...
I know I always end these summaries with a "where did the time go" type of sentiment but you guys, Pickle just turned one and now she is wearing 18 to 24 month old clothes. Seriously, my mind = blown. How can time be going so quickly? Why is that it just seems like yesterday, I was washing the 3 to 6 month onsie's. Love sigh.

On the 15th of every month, I take a picture of Rowan in a white onsie on our living room sofa. To help mark the passage of time and growth, I keep background elements similar. Whether you have a baby or not, you can photograph your family or loved ones using the same technique.
