If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I take a lot of pictures of coffee. Being a mother of a 10 month old, I am often fueled by the delicious caffeinated substance. A few weeks ago, I recieved the new Everyday Sweetness Minibook kit in the mail. Excited to play, I decided to make a mini book dedicated to my addiction / obsession with coffee.
Picking up on the colourful pattern paper in the kit, I wanted the book to be fun and graphic. I immediately knew that I wanted a combination of oversized and smaller photos. I chose 25 photos from my iPhoto, resized them in PSE and printed them out at home. Photos were either 6x6 or 2x2.
My goal was to create a simple cohesive look. I did this by repeating the design and adding a few fun journaling facts about coffee on each page. I am happy with the end result.
Below is a look at the end result:
To me, mini books are a guilt free way to scrap about the lighter topics of my life. I love making them, but forget how fun they can be until I actually sit down and make one!
What was the subject of your last mini book?
