Today I fly home after three jam packed days on the CHA floor. I had a great time with the girls from my LSS, but I miss my family. I am excited to see my girlie and hangout with my husband. For today's Five on Friday, I thought I would share some of many favourite paper lines from the CHA show.
Simple Stories "Snap". Although the concept of divided page protector scrapbooking isn't new, this line really caught my eye. So colourful! Their Mix and Match Album, will come in a plethora of colours including red, orange, pink, blue, green and brown. I love that the coordinating cardstock with this line is white. I look at this line and it makes me want to scrap!
Glitz Design "Hello Friend". Although I am not familiar with this company, I loved this dreamy line.....very Wilna F! This line stood out because it didn't have too many chevrons...And let me tell you, there were alot of chevrons to choose from. They had beautiful and distinctive embellishments. The puffy word stickers had dimension while their peek-a-boo transparencies were a nice addition and reminded me of Hambly.
Authentique, "Enchanted". I love a good classic halloween line. This stood out for me because it is not too themey. You could use some of the papers for non-Halloween layouts. Since this will be my first year capturing a Halloween with a little one, I will definitely pick some up.
Cosmo Cricket, "Jolly Days". With so many Christmas lines out on the floor, there was just something about this line that kept me going back to the Cosmo Cricket booth. I loved those buttons and brads! The chevron paper, "Candy Cane", featured above, was also very distinctive. I think this year's December Daily Album will include alot of this line.
Basic Grey, "Serenade". I'm a sucker when it comes to blue-green, black and white color schemes. I like Basic Grey's bold use of colour and the soft creams that is used in this line. Also fabulous? The little snippets and banner embellishments. Basic Grey has also brought back their little letters stickers. I can't get enough of these when it comes to my layouts!
These are just a few of the lines I liked. There were many more. Also on my wish listed: My Mind's Eye "The Sweetest Thing", Echo Park, "Everyday Electic", and October Afternoon, "Make it Merry" and "Midway".
What are your favourite lines of the show?
Thanks for reading!
Happy Weekend!
